Dick’s Roofing to be a Sponsor at the Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival

At Dick’s Roof Repair Service we believe in being extremely involved in the Kenosha, WI community that we call home. Owner Jeff Milkie is an active longtime board member of the Boys & Girls Club Kenosha and Dick’s Roofing has been a long time member of the Circle of Friends. We take great pride in giving back to the community, especially when it comes to helping improve our youth’s future.

Dick’s Roofing will once again be a table sponsor at the 9th Annual Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival, held on Saturday, April 23 from 1 – 5pm at Kenosha’s iconic Brat Stop, located east of I-94 on HWY 50. This event benefits the Boys & Girls Club Kenosha and is one of the largest fundraisers the club has each year, as it has raised over $250,000 over the past 8 years, to help support after-school programs for at-risk youth of the community as well as the Be Great Create Performing Arts Program. There are 48 breweries participating in the Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival, and that does not include the home brewers. General Admission Tickets to the event may be purchased in advance for $45, otherwise they are $50 at the door. Ticket includes beer, cheese samples, keepsake beer glass, and live music. The Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival also offers VIP admission for $75 in advance and $80 at the door. The VIP Ticket includes everything offered for General Admission Tickets, PLUS, 1-hour early entry to the event, bacon themed buffet lunch, a commemorative mug, specialty beers not available with general admission tickets, specialty cheese and more. The VIP area will be inside the Brat Stop in the mezzanine area overlooking the main music stage. The Kenosha News is sponsoring the live music stages, which will feature Random Maxx, The Music Vendors, and The New Vinyls. Several area hotels are also providing lodging specials for visitors to the area for the event, with each package including 2 general admission tickets in the overnight room rate.
