Dick’s Roof Repair Awards Free Roof to Local Veteran Family

This year, Dick’s Roof Repair had the honor of awarding a free roof to a deserving veteran family, and though the decision is never easy, one story truly touched our hearts. We are proud to announce that the 2024 recipient of our roof giveaway is Travis Rosmann, a three-tour Army combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient from Kenosha, WI, whose family’s story of service and resilience deeply moved us.

Travis and his wife Jessica, both veterans, have faced numerous health battles due to their service, all while raising their four young children. Despite the challenges, they remain an inspiration to their friends and community, always focusing on the good in life and working hard to set an example for their children.

The nominations for Travis were heartfelt, highlighting his bravery during his tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and his ongoing commitment as a father and husband. His injuries from his third tour, including a traumatic brain injury (TBI), have made home repairs difficult. With leaks and minor roof repairs piling up, a new roof will be a true blessing for the Rosmann family, easing some of the financial and emotional stress they face.

At Dick’s Roof Repair, we believe that all veterans deserve this gesture, and we are honored to have the opportunity to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
